Q
Q is 2π times the ratio of peak energy stored to energy dissipated during one period of current flow through an inductor. Higher Q can be achieved by lowering the energy dissipation in the core material (lowering the core loss). Eddy current core loss is largely responsible for Q dropping with increased frequency as shown by the MPP Q curves.
